As a resident of Cambridge since 1936, J&C Adams believes strongly in supporting local charities and community events, including:

CHAF, the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund, which helps at-risk people make the transition from life in a shelter, or on the street, to more stable and secure housing.  Since 1999, CHAF has been helping to break the cycle of homelessness in our community.

The Children’s Room in Arlington which offer caring and support for grieving children, teens, and their families.

The Annual Oldtime Baseball Game in Cambridge which supports local charities.

Cambridge Rotary Club annual “Chalk on the Walk”, which benefits local Cambridge charities and scholarships.

Cambridge Little Baseball League—North and West Divisions;

Boston Building Resources, which provides affordable building materials and workshops, especially for low and moderate-income homeowners.

Rebuilding Together Boston, an affiliate of the national organization that provides renovations and improvements to houses for people that would otherwise be unable to afford home repairs and maintenance.
